Tips that make a real difference
Try wearing your mask while awake first
Spend 15–20 minutes with your mask on while watching TV or reading. Your brain needs time to accept it as normal before sleep.
Use the ramp feature if pressure feels overwhelming
Most CPAP machines have a ramp setting that starts at low pressure and gradually increases. Ask your provider to enable it.
Clean your humidifier chamber daily
Standing water breeds bacteria. A quick rinse with warm soapy water each morning keeps your air clean and your equipment lasting longer.
